Before you can access the StoneShot Platform, you’ll need a user account. This Username and Password has permissions specific to how you need to work.<\/p>\n

Any changes you make (such as editing an email or importing and exporting data) are audited against your account, so it’s important that you don’t share your account with other users.<\/p>\n

As a new user, we\u2019ll send you a welcome email with a link to set your password and login.<\/p>\n

Logging in<\/h2>\n

To login go to\u00a0www.stoneshot.com<\/a>, click on Login<\/strong> and enter your Username and Password.<\/p>\n

Note that if you enter an incorrect Username\/Password combination five times your account will be locked.<\/p>\n

If you forget your username or password, you can click on Forgot?<\/strong> and complete your details as required on the screen here.<\/p>\n

You will then be sent an email allowing you to reset your password. When you’re logged in you’ll see the Home page.<\/p>\n

Accounts come in a variety of permission levels, as follows below:<\/p>\n

Viewer<\/td>\nViewers can log in and look around the platform.\u00a0 All content is read-only to these users.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Owner<\/td>\nOwners can create, update and delete contacts. They can\u2019t create any content and can view campaigns.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Author<\/td>\nAuthors can create, update and delete all content. They can\u2019t view contacts and can only view campaigns.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Standard<\/td>\nStandard users of the platform can manage content, contacts, campaigns and events.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Manager<\/td>\nManagers can do everything in StoneShot apart from creating new users and managing account settings.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Admin<\/td>\nAdmins have total access to StoneShot. They can do everything including creating new users and managing account settings.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

Creating users<\/h2>\n

You’ll need to be an Admin to create a new user. Go to Options > Users – if you have Admin permissions, you’ll see a Users tab. If not, please contact your StoneShot administrator or email support@stoneshot.com<\/a> and we’ll help.<\/p>\n

So as an administrator, you’ll see how many Marketing and Sales licenses. If you need more seats, hit Request<\/strong> and your StoneShot account manager will be in touch. To create a user, click New User<\/strong> and you’ll see a popover like this.<\/p>\n

Fill in all fields and click Save<\/strong> to setup the user.<\/p>\n

Note: If your account has Single Sign On enabled, then the \u201cAuto-create user\u201d and \u201cEnable Single Sign on\u201d checkboxes need to be ticked, the user will then automatically be created upon saving.

If your account does not have Single Sign On enabled, then the Auto-create user<\/strong> and Enable Single Sign On<\/strong>\u00a0checkboxes need to be unticked and the user will receive a New User email which they will need to open and click to complete their account.<\/p>\n
