Shining a light on mindfulness

We are delighted to be able to invite you to join us for an hour of complimentary mindfulness with Quiet & Co to demonstrate how you could decrease your stress levels and improve your wellbeing.

A Zoom link will be distributed to you on the afternoon of the event.

What's involved?

This Taster Session will introduce what mindfulness is – and why it can be help you feel better, work better and get along with people better.

During the 60-minute session, Neil will invite you to join in with three meditation practices – Mindfulness of Breath and Body, The 3-Step Breathing Space and The Kindness Practice.

Neil will also delve into the science showing that mindfulness works, and there’ll be time for questions.

Getting the most out of the session

Mindfulness is about being fully present.

As best you can, treat the session as if you were coming to an in-person class – which would mean turning off your phone and other devices. Be conscious of potential interruptions from the computer you’re Zooming in from, and close other applications (especially email).

You’ll get the most out of the session if you join from a place where you won’t be disturbed, and where you can sit upright but comfortably – a straight-backed chair is better than a sofa.
